Hi there! I’m Sarah. Working with families and their babies is my passion and my calling. I have been educating myself about birth and babies since I was pregnant with my first child in 1999. As a new mother I was trained as an Infant Massage and Communication instructor, deepening my interest and commitment to healthy families. Having a doula at the births of my children convinced me that becoming a doula was the path for me, and in 2006, I attended the Sacred Doula Training at Breitenbush Hotsprings. It was an incredible training and since that time I have been helping families as a birth and postpartum doula. I love this work, the opportunity to help birthing women, their partners and their families have positive birth experiences truly enriches my life. I continue to educate myself about birth, women’s health and babies, and am always finding this work interesting and rewarding.
I am the mother of four growing children and wife to a wiley wizard. I enjoy living in the Pacific Northwest among the trees where I’m lucky enough to walk each day. I enjoy yoga, Nia, cooking, knitting, sewing, herbalism, music and laughter.
